ABOUT
I Prep is a tutoring center whose mission is to provide guidance and resources to students and families in becoming life-long learners. Right preparation leads to success. Our core beliefs are:

Mentorship: teacher-student relationship beyond academics; students learn best from teachers who they trust and respect.

Inspiration: expose our students to different areas such as art, music, history, science etc. to inspire them to learn from different mediums.

Motivation: students need to be motivated to learn; we motivate by setting goals and learning in different modalities.

Confidence: students gain academic confidence when they are provided with skills, strategies and tools that support their learning.
We believe that in addition to solid foundational academic skills, character development and social skills are vital. We ask our students and parents to not strive for immediate results but rather to slowly build up a lifelong set of valuable skills and values. We strongly stress the importance of good habits and routines, as they are the foundations on which greatness is built.
In addition to academic excellence, we value strong social skills in order to successfully work effectively in a group. Our "small group tutoring" philosophy allows us to cater to each child's academic needs while helping them develop important collaborative practices so that they become critical-thinking contributors in any setting.
Academic studies at I Prep are rigorous. We stress active reading skills and comprehension, daily journal writing, vocabulary, and problem solving math. Students will be challenged to go beyond their grade level studies. Weekday and weekend homework is given and expected to be completed well.
Child Safety
Above all, safety is our number one priority. We have an in house RN at all times. We ask for the cooperation of all so that each child's safety is ensured.

Teachers at I Prep will not tolerate any behaviors that endangers the safety of any student.
​Our Staff

Our teachers are professionals who are caring, supportive and encouraging and have extensive experience in both public school and private school settings. They are excellent in academic teaching. They are experienced and trained to teach holistically. Teachers will address not only the academic needs but also the emotional, social, and physical needs of each student. Our teachers also cooperate with each other to plan and implement the best strategies to fully benefit all the students at I Prep.
